The Bureau’s license to operate means that the institution and its operation comply with the minimum state standards as set forth in the Education Code.

St. Francis Training Institute has affiliations with the following organizations and agencies to train eligible participants; Welfare Investment Act (WIA), Trade Readjustment Act (TRA), Veteran’s Educational Assistance, City of San Bernardino-ETA, County of San Bernardino-CalWORK’s, County of Riverside-EDA, and California Indian Manpower Consortium.

St. Francis Training Institute is not a public institution. St. Francis Training Institute is a private institution and is approved to operate by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education.

California statute requires that a student who successfully completes a course of study be awarded an appropriate diploma or certificate verifying the fact. St. Francis Training Institute offers its graduates a certificate verifying completion of the course of study.

Prospective students are encouraged to visit the physical facilities of the school and to discuss personal, educational and occupational plans with school personnel prior to enrolling.

St. Francis Training Institute has no pending petitions in bankruptcy. We do not operate as a debtor and we have not filed for reorganization under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy in the past nor within the past five years.

St. Francis Training Institute Inc. was founded August 16, 2012 in Riverside, California. We provide training to residents of Riverside and neighboring communities. The latest teaching methods, curriculum and equipment are carefully researched and continuously updated to offer student quality training.

The primary goal of SFTI is to deliver quality-training programs that will enable students to be successfully trained and placed in their chosen career field. The following objectives support SFTI’s goals:

Classes are small, focusing on individual attention and prompt feedback on students’ progress.
Career training programs accentuating the major characteristics desired by employers: reliability, skills, knowledge, and good customer relations.
Job placement preparation and placement assistance programs prepare students to successfully enter the job market.

The Riverside campus is centrally located at 3173 Tyler Street, Riverside, CA 90503. There is ample parking and it is handicap accessible. The campus is close to several major freeways (I-91 and I-15) and public transportation. The facility is located 1/2 mile North the 91 Freeway, 8 miles from the I-15 and 8 miles from 215 Interstate Highway. This location features air conditioned classrooms, labs and equipment necessary to maintain the quality of the training programs offered. The average classroom size is 20 students with a maximum capacity of 60 students at a given time for morning, afternoon, evening and weekend periods.

SFTI uses the latest in instructional equipment which include: EKG (Cardiac) 12 lead heart monitors, Autoclave Sterilizers, Phlebotomy Blood Separation Centrifuge machines, latest blood draw chairs, electric patient training beds, overhead projectors, computer laboratory equipment, and updated instructional books and materials.

Many of the St. Francis Training Institute staff has been selected from the professional community where they excel at what they teach. These professionals bring a practical hands-on knowledge of the workplace as well as a talent for teaching their expertise.

SFTI instructors are encouraged to inspire students to achieve personal goals as well as career goals through the attainment of knowledge, skills, and self-confidence.
Many of SFTI Faculty works in the medical and computer industry, which provides them with the opportunity to stay current on present and future trends. They know what companies are looking for, and are encouraged to convey this information to students.
